The Theaker family has been associated with the timber industry for two generations.  Sue has been linked to one of SA’s leading hardwood timber and wood flooring importers as a financial and general manager for ten years.  Russell has had his UK flooring installation business for 20 years and Rhys gained his experience both from his brother in UK as a fitter, and as a contracts manager, from the feet of arguably the top wooden flooring supplier in South Africa.

Theaker Wooden Flooring was launched in January 2009 and the Company specialises in the supply and installation of new pre-sealed solid wooden and bamboo flooring (the green alternative as bamboo is a grass and sustainable) using  the click system

THE INSTALLATIONS

The flooring is laid with a waterproofing layer AND on the Elastilon Layer System, which has revolutionised the stability of wooden flooring.  TWF always checks the moisture levels of the base flooring when quoting and prior to commencement of work, to ensure the stability of the completed job.

Our product range is sourced from the top importers in South Africa, who can offer the TWF and its clients first rate products, guarantees and if necessary technical back up support.

CREDENTIALS

The Company is registered with the SOUTH AFRICAN WOOD AND LAMINATE FLOORING ASSOCIATION (SAWLFA)  and both Rhys and the senior fitter have received full accreditation.  Being a member of the association enables the Company to call on their expertise and as a result of the accreditation, receive their endorsement.
